Saving Abel – это пятеро парней из штата Миссиссиппи, решивших объединиться 4 года назад и играть музыку, которая сразу цепляла бы слушателей. Они так и говорят: «Когда вам нравится песня, звучащая по радио и вы понятия не имеете, кто её исполняет, вам кажется, что вы уже слышали что-то подобное. Вот мы как раз и являемся такой командой».
Свой первый хит Addicted вокалист Джаред Уикс сочинял, работая в больнице. Он приходил на работу в 4.30 утра, будил пациентов и брал у них кровь для анализов. Делая инъекции больным, Уиксу приходили на ум слова будущей песни. Поэтому его врачебный блокнот был исписан не диагнозами и рекомендациями, а лирикой рок-композиций.
